Well happy Friday everyone,
I’m just sending out a lil newsletter JAM-packed with all sorts of tidbits and snippets.
Just what you’d expect from lil’ ole me right?
Ok.
I saw two horrid yet amazing movies on cable this week, Jenny McCarthy and Carmen Electra in Dirty Love (I swear it’s not a porno but Jenny does a HILAROIUS full frontal) and Samhain (yes spelled that way) with Jenna Jameson and Richard Greco (again NOT a porno but surreal!)
And then if you have not seen Children of Men, Go. See it.
And FYI, as some of you know they discontinued my FAVORITE Cherry Lip Gloss, Maybelline Cherry Berry (IF YOU SEE IT BUY IT FOR ME!) and so I found some (I stress some, not enough though!) on EBAY, god bless eBay, but if you see it GET IT!!!
On the money tip: if you need a good musician/artist friendly accountant call Michael Morierty, the man rocks 617.227.2005 he’s been in the creative world, he KNOWS.
And then go to the new ICA the mural when you walk in worth the trip down there…
So…over to some music
I’m not booking at the Linwood anymore but has not having ONE venue ever stopped me from trying to do put things in motion…HELLS NO! So keep it coming kids…
And since I can share this with everyone, I am off to sunny Mexico for a hitchin (congrats Dee and Mo) and so I will be without a phone or email for a WHOLE week I am PSYCHED but but but I will miss some music that I want to see… here we go
This weekend: Friday is the Cd compilation from the “underground” the ole C$RT and Read Yellow and Mad Man Films and many more will be at the Mid East.
Monday Mid East the Dwarves
On Tuesday at the Abbey Henry is playing OR JUSTIN is at the gahdin. I’m sad I’m missing him.
WEDNESDAY as part of The Model’s “let’s have bands again” series the kickassenest Cortez are playin and DJ Ungertaker will spin (or is he using the jute box?)
And then on Thursday at the Abbey Mr. Gill and the Murder Mile will be playing.
God I’d have every night planned if I was here…
And Friday you just have to pick for yourself (this is Friday the 9th) Shepherdess is at the Abbey, Frank Smith is at PAs, Flutter Effect is at the Middle East, Protokoll is at Great Scott, Dear Leader and Taxpayer at the Paradise, I’m drunk on the beach, wheeew.
Saturday just go see the Vershock at Great Scott or get in the car and watch the Derby Dames skate the shit outta some other girls, I’ll be flying home with a tan and some tequila.
On the 17th is Shawn and Suzi’s Mardi Gras Ball (Good cause, Good people, GREAT music) it’s at TT’s and all the $$ goes to charity. Just pushin that…
