Who gives a shit that it’s a Monday and I’m an odd old age, I need a good party, and I need lots of people and bands and lovin (and shots..ummm yeah) So DJ Boo BOO Danger is gonna DJ with me (and I’m gonna MC because I think I’m entertaining) and it’s sponored by Street Attack and The Weekly Dig…performing will be: Thom of the Bon Savants, the Snowleopards, EJ Labb,The Vershok, and now… The Murder Mile too!!!! 21+ at Harpper’s Ferry in Allston 8pm $7. A little Bang Camaro side note….
Bang Camaro has some amazing and frightening news… I mean Nick is hot and Nate is HOT and the rest of the guys are smokin ( I mean that in so many ways) but they are going to be in the September issue of Playgirl! And…

If you’re awake at 8:20am on Thursday and live in the Boston area, tune into Fox 25’s morning news and watch Bang Camaro play “Push Push (Lady Lightning)” and here I thought Fox had only real news!

Saturday, May 5th they play Pearl St. in Northampton, MA $10, 8pm

The Derby dames host their last bout of the season at the Shriner’s in Wilmington… www.bostonderbydames.com
Sunday, May 6th at Mayfair in Harvard Square in Cambridge, MA

Will also host the delightfully insane Bang Camaro, as well as Christopher Barnes and The Unstoppable Black Clouds (three artists/bands I love, good thing I have to be there.)

Then moving on a few items of note… Vagiant’s last show is at The Abbey on the 11th,

and it’s Salty Dave’s Birthday on the 12th www.saltydave.com

The ole Birthday bash and the Girl Scouts!

So.. here's the birthday skinny...

The show tomorrow night (my bday party) is $7 and after I pay all the bands I am donating the rest of the $ to the girl scouts of America. They have a program where someone can donate $ and send girls to sleep away camp for a week, my goal is to send as many urban dwelling girls to country sleep away camp as I can!

I will also have a "camp jar" at the door of Harpers for any additional donations people would like to give.

As everyone knows I NEVER take or make any money on my lil projects, in fact I usually give to a charity and take a loss... BUT this time it's all for the bands that are playing and charity!

GIRL SCOUTS are amazing...

Wii "competition" at Ti-Kill-YA rain this Wednesday!

Tequila Rain will host Boston’s first ever Nintendo Wii night on May 23rd. Nintendo’s Wii has become the hottest thing in gaming since, well…Space Invaders? Finally, there’s a chance for everyone to see and experience what the buzz is really about. Wii’s revolutionary controller design offers unique motion-sensitive game play that places players smack dab in the middle of the action. People will be invited to compete against each other in tennis, boxing, golf, baseball and bowling. Call out your boss, roommate, partner or foe and settle the score in front of a crowd at Tequila Rain on Landsowne Street.

A ten dollar donation to Boston Medical Center’s Kids Fund will allow participants to sign up and play all night. There’s no cover at the door; anyone can come down and watch the action, grab a cocktail (this is a 21+ night) and catch the Red Sox vs. Yankees away game.

HoloDek, a unique virtual venue based in New Hampshire, will be on hand to run people through the motions and show off their High Definition Front Projection Screens. Boston’s Weekly Dig will film the action and post the results on www.weeklydig.com for all to see. Look for Wednesday Wii Play to become a regular night in Boston in the near future with sponsors, special celebrity guests, tournaments and prizes!

Tequila Rain is located at 3 Lansdowne St. in Boston. (617) 437-0300 www.tequilarainboston.com
