Oh I have the Holiday Spirit… and then some!!
First of all Happy Chanukah! Secondly there are sooo many fun "holiday parties" to attend and so many good sales and shopping events and wow so much to do, maybe I can unchain myself from the shop for a bit? Nope, no WAY! We are going full force here at the Motley Home (652 Tremont in the South End) and my standard line is "Christmas threw up all over our lovely store" it kinda did but it really does look purdy! And I am listening to The Hall and Oates Christmas CD, lawd the mustache!!
Just wanted to write and tell you my shopping guide is on the way later this week and that here's the social calendar for this and a wee bit of next week!!
On the other hand maybe I’ll get lazy and just rent movies from Eveonne at The Video Underground.. she’s got a bunch of “sales” check out www.thevideounderground.com for the scoop!

Most of the names I just dropped are Ladies’ Night Alums and I hope they will join me again at Ladies Night Spring 08!!!!

Monday the 10th
This day I honor my great grandmother Marie Corrigan, so no one gets written about but her. She was one bad ass woman and if you were lucky enough to meet her with me YOU WERE BLESSED! That woman made a mean strip of bacon and could mix a vodka cranberry like NO ONE ELSE, and she was the most amazing judge of character, she always knew way before I did who was a shyster and who was good…. She had an amazing 101 years on this earth and I hope she's enjoying wherever she is.
Tuesday the 11th
We are hosting our Motley Home Jingle Balls celebration and if you want to pop over and shop and sip pop over (652 Tremont Street, South End) But as a side mark this is not a night for me to hang out as I end up being "sales girl" so no offense but no chatting for me…
Wednesday the 12th
This is a night to go and support your friends…
Roadsaw and Hackman and Ironweed and a "special guest" will be at Great Scott playing a benefit for Darryl Sheppard, Darryl has been a good friend to many of us and he's got some mighty big medical bills so come out and hear some great music and show some love.
Wednesday December 12th - 8pm $8 at Great Scott. First 30 heads in the door get a free beer.
